Measurements

Make sure you are still entangled.

Those rainbow colors mean your Qubis are still entangled. To leave the singlet state, make a measurement. Jab either Qubi in any direction. Each sphere collapses to a definite outcome.

Look at where they land. The two will always face opposite directions. That's the entanglement at work, measuring one instantly correlates with the other. The moment either Qubi is measured, the entanglement ends.

Jab one of an entangled pair: both spheres collapse.

Any direction

The jab can go in any direction. This one is sideways, a measurement in the X basis.

A sideways jab: measuring in the X basis.

Calibrating the jab

  • Jab in a straight line, in any direction.
  • Make sure you aren't twisting the Qubi or curving the trajectory.
